GELAS Armagnac’s have been produced from a wealth of experience. Producing top quality Armagnacs dating back to 1865, Maison Gelas set out 15 years ago to specialise in a new technique: Double Cask Maturation. This technique sees the Armagnac spend additional time ageing in a second oak barrel, which will previously have been used to age sweet or fortified wines, allowing a complex array of flavours to be imparted.
