A Message from the Owner, John:

We are currently making some exciting, fundamental changes to Premier Cru. First, I would like to sincerely apologize for our somewhat inconsistent operating model over the past few months. The updates we are working on will completely transform how we serve you. We are transitioning from a traditional wine shop into a hybrid wine bar model, while still maintaining a large selection of bottles available for both takeaway and enjoying in-store.

Expanded Wine & Beverage Selection

We are expanding our horizons beyond French wines. While our core focus will always remain on France, we recognize that our community enjoys exploring other regions too. While we prepare the physical space, we are also busy curating an exciting new menu featuring global wines, spirits, a small selection of craft beers, and light food pairings.

Our New Operating Model

We are currently in the process of securing our bar and light refreshment licenses. This administrative journey has been a bit more complex than we initially hoped. We now expect to begin construction works in late July 2026, with plans to fully open in September or October as Sai Ying Pun’s premium wine bar.

Temporary Operating Hours & Fit-Out Period

To manage this period of change, we have temporarily shortened our current working hours. Once the bar officially launches, we will be extending our hours significantly. Please note that we will close temporarily during the physical fit-out period, but our brand-new online shop will be up and running by then to keep your cellars stocked.

Website, Online Sales & Social Media

Our digital transformation is already underway. You may have noticed our new website interface; we will continue building this out over the coming months to offer full online sales for all of our inventory very soon. We are also currently working on our social media presence to make sure people are aware of what's happening.

Staffing & Service Excellence

To support this new chapter, we have already begun hiring for our expanded team. As always, we are deeply committed to continually improving our wine knowledge and service delivery to give you the best possible experience.
